German Children’s Fund supports new inclusion project for children and youth

Lautertal, November 17, 2025

The association 20Years Refugee e.V., based in Lautertal, began implementing its new educational project “Shaping an Inclusive Future Together” in the Coburg area on November 15. The project, which focuses on children’s policy (KIP), is made possible through a grant from the German Children’s Fund (Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk e.V.).

The project aims to empower children and young people in the Coburg district to actively engage with the topics of inclusion and cooperation. Over several project days held at institutions in the region, participants are guided through educational simulations and learn the importance of inclusive and fair coexistence.

“We are extremely grateful to the German Children’s Fund for this important support,” said Aram Abraham, Chairman of 20Years Refugee e.V. “Especially in the current times, it is essential that young people learn how they can actively help shape the future—an inclusive future that involves everyone.”

The German Children’s Fund (Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk e.V.) supports the project as part of its KIP (Children’s Policy) thematic fund.
